2.54 pm : Coroner’s court adjourned to 10.30am tomorrow as witness, pathologist Dr Khairul Azman not feeling well

1.02 pm: Court breaks off for lunch until 2pm.

12.43 pm: Dr Khairul: Based on the bad smell of the body, Teoh could have died less than 36 hrs before the post mortem. Post mortem was done at about noon on July 17.

Replying to Tan Hock Guan, the government-appointed lawyer assiting the inquest, Dr Khairul said the post mortem showed no obvious injuries of struggle.

There were no obvious injuries of self defense that could be seen on Teoh except for the injuries due to the impact of the fall, he aid.

12.38 pm : Government autopsy shows no signs of injuries caused by self-defence or struggling, pathologist says.

12.35 pm : Dr Khairul testifies that Teoh had died 6 to 8 hours before body was found.

12.26 pm : Pathologist Dr Khairul Azman says Teoh could have landed on his feet & fell forward judging from the broken ribs.

Reporters and members of the public stand up to see Dr Khairul demonstrating the position Teoh could have landed on the ground.

12.20 pm : Pathologist says cause of death is multiple injuries due to falling from a high building.

12.10 pm : Pathologist tells coroner’s court that Teoh’s neck bone was fractured

12.01 pm : Pathologist says Teoh’s ribs were fractured & suffered internal bleeding within chest cavity.

11.55 am : Pathologist says internal examination showed Teoh’s skull & jaw were fractured, brain was bleeding.

11.45 am : Coroner’s court told that Teoh sufffered from multiple broken & fractured bones on various parts of his body, arms & legs.

10.50 am : Coroner’s court breaks for a short recess.

10.48 am : Dr Khairul says Teoh had multiple injuries mostly to the right side of body. A bone fragment was found in Teoh’s right sock

10.47 am : Pathologist continues testimony in English

10.45 am : Teoh family lawyers request Dr Khairul read autopsy report in English as significant details are missed out. Pathologist asked to reconsider to give testimony in english to ensure consistency between verbal testimony n post mortem report

(Peguam Gobind Singh mempersoalkan keterangan saksi ke-10 ini berlaku sedikit percanggahan dan tidak lengkap. Percanggahan berlaku apabila saksi beri keterangan dalam bahasa Melayu, tetapi laporan rasmi dalam bahasa Inggeris. Ada beberapa bahagian yang diterjemahkan tidak begitu lengkap. Peguam krajaan negeri dan peguam Majlis Peguam juga bersetuju dengan Gobind. Bagaimanapun koroner meminta supaya saksi yang memilih untuk memberi keterangan dalam bahasa Melayu supaya buat terjemahan yang betul. Malah saksi juga dibenar untuk menggunakan kedua-dua bahasa iaitu bahasa Melayu dan bahasa Inggeris.)

10.36 am : Dr Khairul testifies he did autopsy with 2nd external expert after a request by Teoh’s elder brother.

10.34 am : Dried blood on right side of face. Dry blood stain on right thigh and inside left thigh. Shoe on his right feet, left without shoe.

10.32 am : 1st time post-mortem done together with doctors from outside at request of TBH brother, Beng Kee

10.30 am : Did Post-mortem on TBH on 16/7/09 together w Dr Rashand Singh (?) from unit forensic PPUM, KL

10.25 am : Coroner’s court continues with testimony of 10th witness, government pathologist Dr Khairul Azman. Witness 10, Dr Khairul Azman bin Haji Ibrahim 51 Klang GH forensic consultant done 3,000 post-mortems

10.20 am : Tan releases witnesses from presence at inquest for their convenience

10.18 am : (Mahkamah diberitahu oleh peguam bela dan penguam cara Tan Hock Chuan bahawa hasil siasatan semalam mendapati kesan seperti darah yang terdapat di antara tangga tingkat 14 dan 15 adalah negatif – bukan darah. Bagaimanapun hasil penemuan empat helai benang di koridor tingkat lima yang dipercyai dari seluar si mati perlu diuji. Tan meminta kebenaran mahkamah supaya seluar si mati yang kini menjadi bahan kes mahkamah dibawa ke makmal untuk diuji. Mengenai permohonan Tan semalam untuk mengecualikan 23 saksi yang tidak berapa penting, koroner tiada bantahan namun ia tertakluk kepad kemajuan siasatan.)

10.15 am : Tan has no objections to Teoh’s family lawyers studying 4 strands of fibres found in yesterday’s site visit.

10.10 am : Coroner asked whether any other discovery other than fibre strands. Tan said there’s no other discovery other than the fibre strands.

10.05 am : Tan Hock Chuan

- Says Teoh was not brought to 15th floor.

10.00 am : Malik Imtiaz – the investigation was done only at the front area of 15th floor. No investigation was done on the inner side of 15th floor.

10.05 am : Government lawyer Tan confirms to Teoh inquest that stains found in stairwell is not blood.Independent inspection: Lt-Col Somchai taking a photograph of a section of Plaza Masalam yesterday.

10.00 am : Chemist says stains not biological nature.The fibre strands – there will be further testing.

9.55 am : Conclusion, all test done in the presents of experts from family is negative. TanHockChuan says they will not do any further lab testing.

9.53 am : No stains test requested on 5th floor

9.50 am : Lawyers contend forensics team, experts possibly found more evidence that need analysis at site of Teoh’s death.

9.40 am : 4th location – based on request on the interested party request.at 2.55pm – team make investigation Team found 4 fibre strands.

9.30 am : Also sofa Team used hemocult sensa on the window – negative Poly light on all open space at ping-pong area – negative

9.20 am : 3rd scene – 14th floor MACC office – a few suspected scene – Wall at the ping pong table area.

9.15 am : Coroner’s court yesterday sent experts to check stains found at stairwell in MACC office, confirmed not of human origin.

9.10 am : Coroner’s court into Teoh Beng Hock’s mysterious death to resume after 2nd site visit yesterday.
